Andi
Andi was a Massachusetts licensed riding instructor, teaching at barns around New England. Before leaving she was the head trainer of her own program out of a large barn in New Hampshire. After having too much of the cold, Andi moved that program south creating Ride the Sky Stables.
Training is Andi's passion in life and she caters to each students (horses and humans) needs making each lesson unique and fun for the rider and their equine partner. Andi focuses her training in Dressage, Eventing and Barrel Racing. She is a natural horsewoman and finds relaxation in starting young horses and working with problem horses. Her goal with any horse is to keep them happy, healthy and fun for as long as possible through correct work and finding out what the horse enjoys to do.
Andi is a licensed and insured riding instructor with over a decade of experience in the equine world. She has learned a great deal and continues to learn every day through her own training in riding and coaching. This is the knowledge she cannot wait to pass on to you! Andi is currently a Level 4 CHA Riding Instructor.
Laney
Laney started riding when she was 7 years old. She grew up in Cincinnati Ohio where she leased and showed off the track Thoroughbreds. (OTTB’s).
She started her riding career in the hunter/jumper discipline but as she advanced started to focus more on jumpers. Through high school she showed on an Interscholastic Equestrian Association team that helped her love for the sport grow.
She went on to college where she competed with the Ohio State Equestrian team. Being a member of the school's equestrian team made it clear to her that she wanted a life long equestrian career. Laney worked at Ride the Sky Stables during the summer months while in college. It was here she fell in love with training young horses and teaching young and new riders. As an avid competitor, Laney competes in Eventing and Dressage events. She loves to work and train OTTB's. And she loves to share her experiences and passion with her students to help them grow into well rounded equestrians.
